WEEK FIVE

Introduction to research proposal essay (GROUP PROJECT) and company development. This is a single document that has all pieces related to the project. Keep it handy and refer back often.

WEEK SIX
PROJECT: Due W6 - Brief oral report (U6 L1) and each member's mini-essay and the group response for the four faces, a working introductory paragraph, and a thesis statement (U6 Project Part 1).
Outline (U6 Project Part 2). 
For homework, start U7 Research Paper Part 3. Bring your research to class to put together as a group in week 7. 
WEEK SEVEN 
Outline is due. Make sure you are following the all parts handout from W5. 
Group work to put together annotated bibliography. 
Project: Due W7 - Annotated bibliography.
Begin work on the Power Point Presentation.

Choose one other area where you know you have weaknesses. Do at least 3 practice quizzes. 
Write a one half page reflection on what you learned and what you need to do to continue strengthening your grammar skills. Email this to the instructor. It should be titled Unit 9 Lab 1 - Writing a profile. 
As a group, begin putting together your essay. 
As a group, begin work to create and practice the group PowerPoint presentation (U7 E1 - to be presented in W10).
WEEK NINE
Finish your full (all parts including cover page, abstract, body, and references) rough draft. Get two people from other groups to read through your group's rough draft (Research paper part 5). They will need to make comments and suggestions, and it must be turned in with the final draft in week 10. 
Implement changes. Keep working.  
As a group, finish work to create the group PowerPoint presentation (U7 E1 - to be presented in W10). PRACTICE.
WEEK TEN
- Presentations - 10-15 minutes per group
Come prepared. If you are late, do NOT enter the classroom until you hear clapping. During presentations, do NOT play on the computer, mess with your phone, fidget, get up to leave the room, etc. 
Use your work from last week and your peer review to make sure that your final draft is relatively error free. 
Project: Due W10 - Rough draft and Final draft. 
U11 E1 - Reflection Essay - We will do this as a lab in the second half of class. This will give you all the entire period in week 11 for the exam. 
WEEK ELEVEN
Final Exam -- Open book and notes. :)
